Extracom celebrates 10 years!
Employee Communications and Live Events company Extraordinary Communication is celebrating 10 years in the business and continues to flourish despite the tough times.
Founder and MD John Kershaw puts Extracom’s success down to the company’s structure which enables him to keep costs to a minimum whilst “employing” the best in the business. “Since day one I decided to keep the core company small and pull in the best people for the job as and when our clients needed them. It wasn’t exactly a ground-breaking business model, but over the years clients have seen the common sense in it, often commenting on how we provide the big agency delivery without the big invoice. ” explained John. “This has meant that we can provide our clients with hugely talented and experienced people at a fraction of the cost of larger agencies because our overheads and running costs are minimal” he added.
John is sure that his business model has helped keep the company secure during the decade it’s been operating and the two economic downturns that it has faced along the way. In addition to the obvious benefits to clients, the way Extracom operates gives regular work to the best of a range of freelance professionals within the communications and live events industry across the UK and Europe, with occasional projects occurring in the USA.
Extracom offers a full range of services from conference production, website development and live event management, to employee engagement strategy and delivery, copywriting and the production of a variety of communications channels.
